We understand that the issue of ticketing has been challenging for many of our overseas supporters, and we want to take a moment to provide some clarity and context for all our members.
First and foremost, it’s important to remember that neither Arsenal NYC nor any other supporters club functions as a ticketing service. Tickets are offered as a membership benefit through Arsenal Football Club, but they are not guaranteed.
The reality is that there is a limited number of tickets allocated to all overseas supporters clubs. Unfortunately, this allocation hasn’t significantly increased over the years, despite the growing number of fans and the club’s success on the pitch. This means we’re working with the same number of tickets, even as the demand continues to rise.
No supporters club knows in advance how many tickets will be allocated for a particular match. Our process is straightforward: we accept ticket requests from members up to a limit based on the maximum number of tickets we've historically received for any match. We believe in fairness, so we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
For instance, if 20 members request tickets for a match, we submit that list to the club. When we receive our allocation, we fulfill requests in the order they were received. If we only receive 10 tickets, unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate the final 10 requests.
We want to emphasize that there is no preferential treatment in this process.
In an effort to make tickets accessible to more members, we’re implementing a new policy: if you’ve been fortunate enough to receive a match ticket this season, you’ll only be eligible to request one additional match during the same season (not guaranteed). We’ve discussed this with other supporters clubs, and we believe it’s a fair approach—perhaps even more generous than some.
Helping facilitate the chance to attend a match at The Emirates has always brought us great joy, and it saddens us when we’re unable to fulfill everyone’s hopes. We want to assure you that our process is always honest, transparent, and rooted in fairness.
